In 2020, God gave Louis and Nikhea Jackson, along with Antonio Quinones, the vision for The Village Anderson, which became the original demonstration site for The Village Indiana. It was born out of a deep burden to see youth, families, and communities experience healing, hope, and transformation through authentic connection.
We believe every city already has what it needs to heal itself. What is often missing is not talent or caring people, but connection. The Village Anderson exists to help rebuild that connection by bringing together youth, mentors, families, churches, schools, and community partners around a shared mission.
What started as a local response to real needs in Anderson has grown into a model for how mentoring communities can be built in ways that are relational, faith-centered, and sustainable.
